About us

South Sask Bus Lines was born with the goal to serve our community. As a family-run business since 2013, over the years we have grown to serve all over southern Saskatchewan and Alberta.

We offer trips across North America, from Disneyland to Niagara Falls, Canada’s Wonderland, the Maritimes, Alaska and various sporting events, including Blue Jays, in Seattle and Minneapolis.

As well, we offer transportation for all private charter groups. We currently partner with local sports teams from all over southern Saskatchewan, including our very own Moose Jaw Warriors. Whether school or corporate, shuttle services are available for daily transportation or special events.

Frequently Asked Questions

Don't see your question? If not, email us today and we will be happy to assist you.

Do I pay for parking, tolls and other fees?

Overnight parking and road tolls are included in the bus quote. National Park fees and ferry fees are paid by the group. Entrance fees and parking at events and attractions are paid by the group.

What do we need to plan for our driver?

When you book a charter bus, the group makes arrangements and pays for any accommodations at the destination. The driver is responsible for their own meals. But, if you are wishing to include them with group meals, it is always a nice touch.

How many hours is a driver allowed on duty?

Our drivers are regulated in how many hours they can drive, be On Duty and Off Duty. In Canada, regulations are that a driver shall not be requested or allowed to drive more than 13 hours or be on duty more than 14 hours in a 24 hour period. When creating your itinerary please keep these times in mind, but for each charter booking we work with you to create a travel schedule that works for both you and the driver.

Where are your pickup locations for your tours?

We pickup in Regina, Moose Jaw, Swift Current and Medicine Hat, but we are always happy to add more stops along the way! Just leave us a note when you book your ticket.

What happens if I have to cancel my tour ticket?

Ticket cancellation is subject to a 75% fee if cancelled less than 21 days prior to departure, or a 100% fee if cancelled less than 7 days prior to departure.  A full refund will be issued for Ticket Cancellations prior to 21 days.

All tickets must be cancelled by contacting South Sask Bus Lines directly, at 306-691-2871 or southsaskbus@sasktel.net.

What happens if I have to cancel a charter bus booking?

We always understand when trips don’t always go to plan, so if a cancellation is needed, we always ask that you call us directly.  Starting April 1st, 2023 all charter bus trips will require a deposit at the time of booking.  Should you require cancellation, the deposit will be forfeited.
